# OPERA LLULLIANA — Calibratio, Parsing, Comparatio et Anti-Drift

Protocol inputs:

- root OPERA class law;
- mode-specific `ADMIT*` result from `AREPO_LLULLIANA.md`;

- active session supplied by `SATOR_LLULLIANA.md` under the registered provisional test-use boundary.

This artifact defines eight OPERA contracts. They may execute only inside an
explicit `LLULLIANA_PROVISIONAL_TEST` session admitted by AREPO and orchestrated
by SATOR. They are not available as default, canonical, deployment, mirror, or
Sigma OPERAE.

## 0. General OPERA and compositional class resolution

`OPERA_LLULLIANA` is a general hermeneutic OPERA whose maintained protocols make
Lullian explanation auditable. It is not limited to executing a closed,
monolithic LLULLIANA stack.

For each invocation, the five class roles are resolved compositionally. The
direct domain surfaces are:

When the principial OPERA role resolves to OPERA A, A AX, or A MINOR, the
variant must be selected explicitly and recorded without scope widening.

TENET, ROTAS, AREPO, OPERA, and SATOR roles may be supplied by different
admitted artifacts. The LLULLIANA-local documents specify protocol, calibration,
and trace requirements; they do not force five LLULLIANA-local runtime
artifacts, replace the selected local authority, or create reverse dependencies.

Potential consumers `08_STACK_D`, `05_STACK_F`, `07_STACK_G`, `09_STACK_H`, and
`10_STACK_I` inherit the relevant protocol surface only through declared
composition with A, T, E, or SK. The effective source artifact and version must
remain in the provenance record. No transitive consumer receives an autonomous
LLULLIANA execution surface merely by inheritance.

An ordinary request such as "explain this in Lullian terms" may select this
OPERA only through explicit routing and disclosure. Silent simulation of the
protocol, hidden source substitution, and untraced Lullian attribution are
forbidden. Such an attempt returns `BLOCK_UNTRACED_LLULLIANA_OPERATION`.

Common prohibitions:

- no operation without an AREPO admission matching mode and scope;
- no execution from TENET, ROTA, LIBER, test, source, archive, prompt, or index description;
- no hidden source fallback;
- no phase or regime substitution;
- no primary-source claim without E0 content and locator;
- no multilingual interpretation or translation that bypasses the admitted Latin semantic pivot;
- no generated Latin paraphrase presented as source text or E0 evidence;
- no English intermediary treated as semantically normative;
- no exposure or claim of private chain-of-thought.

The left branch is always declared. A controlled Latin paraphrase never becomes
E0 by fluency, repetition, or agreement with a modern translation.

Operational provenance explains source, transformation, and authority. It does not expose hidden model reasoning.

## III. Eight mode contracts

### MODE 1 — IDENTIFICATIO

Purpose: delimit target, work, passage, phase, house, regime, function, and requested operation.

Inputs: user target; candidate work/passages; admitted identification evidence.

Required actions:

- separate known, supplied, inferred, and unresolved identity fields;
- apply the TENET phase vocabulary;
- select no wheel if phase is unresolved;
- mark pre-Art/post-Art material outside the duplex.

Output: `LLULLIANA_TARGET_PROFILE`.

Required provenance: identity claim source, locator, evidence tier, confidence, and rejected alternatives.

Failure states: `TARGET_AMBIGUOUS`, `PHASE_UNRESOLVED`, `WRONG_WHEEL`, `WORK_LOCATOR_MISSING`.

### MODE 2 — TERMINORUM_EXPOSITIO

Purpose: construct a local term register before interpretation.

Inputs: admitted terms and work/passages.

Required actions:

- record original language and carrier;
- record the exact Latin form when the admitted witness is Latin;
- distinguish `TEXTUS_LATINUS_E0` from `PARAPHRASIS_LATINA_CONTROLATA`;
- recover local definition, neighbors, phase meaning, and function;
- distinguish translation association from historical meaning;
- mark absent or investigable definitions.

Output: `TERMINORUM_REGISTER`.

Required fields: `term`, `carrier`, `original_language`,
`textus_latinus_e0`, `paraphrasis_latina_controlata`,
`latin_pivot_status`, `local_definition`, `work`, `phase`, `regime`,

### MODE 3 — REGIMINUM_MAPPATIO

Purpose: map admitted material to phase-qualified houses without carrier collapse.

Inputs: target profile, term register, and selected ROTA.

Required actions:

- emit `A_TERN/T_TERN/S_TERN/Q_TERN` or `A_DEM/S_DEM/T_DEM/X_DEM`;
- record houses visited, recovered, exited, and returned;
- preserve cross-wheel deltas when transitional comparison is admitted.

Output: `REGIME_MAP`.

Required provenance: ROTA version, house IDs, source carriers, entry/exit evidence, deltas, and return completion.

Failure states: `ATSQ_ASTX_COLLAPSE`, `HOUSE_EXIT_FAILED`, `RETURN_INCOMPLETE`, `CARRIER_PHASE_MISMATCH`.

### MODE 4 — FONTIUM_CALIBRATIO

Purpose: construct a source-affinity map without confusing routing with evidence authority.

Inputs: R0–R3 routes and actual evidence packet.

Required actions:

- list routes separately from loaded sources;
- assign E0–E4 to each admitted claim;
- distinguish historical control, reconstruction, comparison, and analogy;
- record absent editions, locators, and conflicts.

Output: `SOURCE_AFFINITY_MAP`.

Required fields: `route`, `source_id`, `loaded`, `evidence_tier`, `claim_type`, `locator`, `affinity`, `non_exclusivity`, `confidence`.

### MODE 5 — ANTI_DRIFT

Purpose: diagnose registered historical, confessional, lexical, school, phase, and analogy drift.

Inputs: admitted claim set; TENET, ROTAS, and LIBER signatures.

Required actions:

- compare claim properties with suspended defaults;
- identify exact drift signature and affected claim;
- distinguish correction from new historical attribution;
- propose remediation without silently rewriting evidence.

Output: `DRIFT_DIAGNOSIS`.

Required fields: `signature`, `claim_id`, `severity`, `evidence`, `introduced_default`, `blocked_transfer`, `remediation`, `status`.

### MODE 6 — COMPARATIO

Purpose: compare systems, phases, authors, translations, or analogical fields without identity or retrojection.

Inputs: admitted comparison pair and direction.

Required actions:

- declare source and target;
- record similarity, difference, preserved relation, suspended property, chronology, and non-equivalence;
- compose the admitted A principial, T relational, E/Q projection, and SK
  subject/image/instrument facets into an `ANALOGICAL_SIGNATURE`;
- retain dominant and secondary source fields, telos, intensity, provenance,
  literalization risk, drift warnings, preferred formulations, and avoided
  formulations;
- emit an `ANALOGICAL_DELTA` when baseline and candidate signatures are
  compared.

Output: `COMPARATIO_LLULLIANA`.

### MODE 7 — TRANSLATIO_CONTROLATA

Purpose: render a term, passage, or calibrated result into modern language while preserving historical distinctions.

Inputs: admitted term register, source-bound claim set, target language, and
either exact admitted Latin E0 text or an explicitly marked controlled Latin
semantic form.

Required actions:

- preserve original carrier, exact source language, and local definition;
- construct or retrieve `TERMINI_LATINI_STABILITI`;
- construct `FORMA_SEMANTICA_LATINA_CONTROLATA` when a source-bound Latin
  proposition is not already available;
- label every generated Latin formulation `CONTROLLED_PARAPHRASE`, never E0;
- validate the Latin form against admitted definitions, relations, relevant
  CAPUT bindings, and the source locator;
- render the user's language directly from the validated Latin form rather than
  through an unmarked English intermediary;
- identify unavoidable compression and translation risk;
- label modern analogy and suspended properties;
- retain uncertainty and provenance.
- collate the user-language rendering back to the Latin pivot, recording terms
  or relations that were compressed, displaced, or not rendered.

Purpose: request a scoped SATOR session patch from admitted calibration results.

Inputs: admitted outputs from Modes 1–7 and current session state.

Required actions:

- propose additions, removals, suspensions, and expiry conditions;
- preserve prior state through an append-only patch record;
- identify whether recalibration, narrowing, or expiry is required;
- never claim permanent model modification.

Output: `CALIBRATIO_LLULLIANA_SESSIONIS_PATCH`.

Required fields: `patch_id`, `parent_patch_id`, `reason`, `scope`, `changes`, `evidence`, `drift_effect`, `expiry`, `review_required`.

No mode may exceed the AREPO-admitted scope. Any new material claim returns to AREPO before it is stabilized or added to session state.
